The new store located at South Dixie Hwy & SW 264th Street will open its doors on Wednesday, April 25th, after a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Walmart will fill a long-standing grocery void in this neighborhood and give local residents a new option to purchase fresh produce, dairy products, baked goods and household supplies. The store also features a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru for residents to conveniently pick up their prescription medications and online order deliveries. “We are extremely excited about this new development, and expect it to activate the area by creating additional jobs and traffic while fulfilling a community need,” says Juan Martinez, leasing manager at Courtelis Company. In addition to Walmart, the project features an additional 16,000 SF of small shop space and outparcels.
