The Buyer is an affiliate of Hoffman Commercial Real Estate, a privately owned real estate investment company with offices in Naples and St. Louis that has been actively acquiring and renovating buildings on 5th Ave South.
Leasing activity on Fifth Avenue has also been brisk to close 2016. Sails Restaurant is the newest addition to the Abbott Downing Building on 305 5th Avenue and is slated to open in late 2017. Sails will feature a menu with northern Mediterranean flair, including a raw bar and a full brunch on Sundays.
“We are very excited about Sails because it will bring a unique seafood dining menu to 5th Avenue. It will be transformative to the west side of the avenue and the area’s overall culinary experience”, says Juan Martinez of Courtelis Company. Sails restaurant is 3,590 sq.ft., and will include an indoor/outdoor setting, raw bar and private dining rooms. The French Brasserie Rustique is planning to open in January at 365 5th Avenue South. “The French and the Tulia Restaurant Group epitomize the excellence and professionalism that we look for in our tenants on Fifth Avenue”, says Rod Castan, President of the Leasing and Management Division of Courtelis Company. Originally from Italy, Chef Vincenzo Betulia is one of South Florida’s most award winning chefs, including Best Chefs of America, Reader’s Choice Award, USA Today’s 10 Best, and an Open Table Winner’s Choice Award. The French will be the third restaurant opened by the Tulia Restaurant Group on 5th Avenue, and promises to bring another level of dining experience featuring fine French Cuisine in a comfortable, rustic setting. The French will be 4,100 sq.ft. plus approximately 1,000 sq.ft. of oak shaded outdoor dining. Also, joining The French at 365 Fifth Avenue is Fritz Martin Fine Cabinetry and Furniture and Persian Galleries.
Fritz Martin Fine Cabinetry and Furniture, will be opening at 365 5th Avenue South in early 2017 and is a 2,423 sq.ft. luxury custom cabinetry and home design store. In addition to importing fine exotic woods, Fritz Martin will have an experienced interior designer on site and hand craft its woodwork locally in Naples. This will be the first location operating in the Naples area for the Michigan based company. Persian Galleries is a specialty retailer that sells authentic Persian rugs and antiques. With multiple locations in Kentucky and Atlanta, they have established their Florida location in Downtown Naples. Persian Galleries is leasing 1,209 sq.ft. at 365 Fifth Avenue.
